Struggles in our lives

A man found a cocoon of an emperor moth. He took it home so that he
could watch the moth come out of the cocoon.

On the day a small opening appeared, he sat and watched the moth for
several hours as the moth struggled to force its body through that little
hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had
gotten as far as it could and it could go no farther. It just seemed to be

Then the man, in his kindness, decided to help the moth, so he took a pair
of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The moth then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled
wings. The man continued to watch the moth because he expected that, at any
moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body,
which would contract in time.

Neither happened!

In fact, the little moth spent the rest of its life crawling around with a
swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man in
his kindness and haste did not understand was that the restricting cocoon
and the struggle required for the moth to get through the tiny opening were
God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the moth into its wings so that
it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Freedom and flight would only come after the struggle. By depriving the moth
of a struggle, he deprived the moth of health.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us
to go through our life without any obstacles, He would cripple us. We would
not be as strong as what we could have been.

How true this is! How many times have we wanted to take the quick way out
of struggles and difficulties, to take those scissors and snip off the
remaining bits in an attempt to be free. We need to remember that our
loving Father will never give us more than we can bear and through our
trials and struggles we are strengthened as gold is refined in the fire.

May we never let the things we can't have, or don't have, or shouldn't have,
spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have."

Don't focus on the things you DON'T have, enjoy each moment of every day God
has given you, and know you are blessed by those things you do have.

14Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Joshua 24:14-15 (KJV)

No one falls in love by choice,
it is by CHANCE.
No one stays in love by chance,
it is by WORK.
And no one falls out of love by chance,
it is by CHOICE If you love this man please forward to 10 people.

He did something for you, now do something for him.
Spread his word, and you'll be rewarded.
How will you be rewarded?
Matthew 10:32 "Whoever acknowledges Me before men, I will acknowledge him before My Father in heaven. But whoever disowns Me before men, I will disown him before My Father in heaven
God is going to shift things around for you tonight & let things work in your favor. Do not ignore him. You must have unwavering faith

This Is Worth Reading
The Longer i Live, The more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company.....a church.....or a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.....I am convinced that life is ten percent what happens to me and ninety percent how I react to it. And so it is with you.....we are in charge of our ATTITUDES.(Dr Charles Swindoll-Author)

When I read this today- It was given to me by, Sheila a Lab tech(She does the blood work) at Westmoreland Reg. Hospital Commons One- It talked to me and said alot about my attitude a how it has been. How about You.

Every little step counts

A staircase composed of very small steps can reach just as high as a staircase made of large steps, and the climb is much more manageable. Every little step counts.

Doing just a little is infinitely more rewarding than doing nothing. And just a little can quickly lead to just a little more.

Five minutes a day adds up to two and a half hours a month, and thirty hours over the course of a year. If you spend those five minutes each day making minor improvements, they can steadily bring about major accomplishments.

Offer one small gesture of kindness each day and multiply it over the course of a lifetime. You'll find your world filled with rich, rewarding and genuine relationships.

Every little step counts, because the little steps are usually the ones that actually get taken. There's virtually no risk, and yet the rewards, over time, can be enormous.

What one little step would make life better for you this very day? Get in the habit of taking small positive steps, and you'll create big, lasting success.
